Iowa Public Procurement Association (IPPA)
We are committed to the promotion of excellence in public procurement, and to the enrichment of our members through professional development and networking opportunities, the encouragement of professional certification to demonstrate occupational expertise and the overall maximizing of our members' value to their employer.
Chartered on November 19, 2008, the Iowa Public Procurement Association (IPPA) is the 76th chapter of the Institute for Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) and is a non-profit organization comprised of public sector purchasing professionals throughout Iowa.
The IPPA Mission
We are guided by these directives:
- Chart the course of the association by considering the best interests of IPPA, our members and the field of public procurement.
- Remain proactive and visionary, and encourage and incorporate diverse points-of-view.
- Employ diligence and prudence in matters affecting IPPA and our members.
- Keep members informed of critical issues, trends and legislation that affect our industry.
